With the increase in the number of smaller virtual studios being installed around the world, we developed System Super 1.5EZ made out of High-Impact ABS Plastic (our 18-inch radius system was previously only available in fiberglass). This is the same tried-and-true material we use to make all other Pro Cyc modular cove systems because of its amazing strength and durability in an extremely lightweight body.

The advantages of System Super 1.5EZ are as follows:

System Super 1.5EZ is one of our most affordable cove systems.
System Super 1.5EZ modules are easy to install because they include pre-drilled holes for quick assembly.
System Super 1.5EZ includes Pro Cyc’s patented non-parabolic corner, consisting of a 12” flat expansion in the middle of the 24” horizontal corner radius. This makes consistent lighting easier and sound reflection is less of a concern than with standard 90-degree corner systems.

The EZ trim installation allows you to build a cyc wall extension into your existing wall with very little invasive construction. The transition from floor-to-wall and/or wall-to-wall is smooth and requires very little space. Because the corner is non-parabolic with a 12” flat center expansion, it reduces noise reflection and provides a longer sweep horizontally for smoother lighting. However, because of the small radius, this cyc is not the solution for everyone and we generally recommend systems with a larger cove radius if any of your cyc walls will be longer than 15 feet. All of the modules in System Super 1.5EZ are trimmed and ready to assemble and install into your wall. All Pro Cyc modules have the patented tapered edge for an even transition to adjacent surfaces which creates an absolutely seamless joint after taping and mudding.
